JUSTIN ST PAUL
I guess my story starts very similar to many others, growing up I spent a long time unsatisfied with both how I looked, and how i felt until I finally reached a point where I wanted to make a change and do something about it.
I was always very active when I was young, there wasn't a sports team that I wasn't a part of; football, rugby, basketball, hockey, you name it and I was there. I spent most of my days chasing a ball around, but unfortunately I rarely did anything to fuel this lifestyle which meant I was always pretty underweight. Everyone around me was bigger and stronger and it made competing in physical sports increasingly difficult.
There came a point when I realised that I needed to do something about it, studying exercise science and biology at college I picked up the basics in regards to weight training and nutrition and slowly started putting it in to practise. At the age of 17 I began my journey in the gym, and was quickly falling in love.
Always pretty shy and self conscious I used to wait until late in the evening for when I knew the gym would be quiet so I could go without any interruptions. I remember when I started training I would struggle to bench press the bar with as little as 2.5kg a side, but I persevered, I set goals and continuously worked until I achieved them.
As time went on and I went to university to further my studies in Exercise Science, I learnt more and more about training and nutrition and was immediately applying it to my own practise.
At the age of 21, while juggling 2 jobs and a final year of university I entered my first fitness competition. Since then I have turned professional in 3 different federations, competed around the world on some of the largest and highest regarded stages in competitive fitness modelling and bodybuilding, all while remaining entirely drug free.
I have worked with and gained sponsorships from some of the biggest brands in the industry while training with, and learning from some of the most influential names. During this time I have honed my expertise through personal training both online and in person for the past 8 years, helping people of all ages and abilities achieve life changing results. Helping people discover the right approach to achieve their individual goals without impacting their lives in a negative way.
